Josh went to Pines Middle School and graduated from the Dillard High School Performing Arts Magnet. He has been a professional guitarist since he was twelve years old and has continued following that dream post high school. He has performed all over the United States as well as across Europe.
Josh has six self-produced albums: Born Under A Blue Sign, Woodsheddin', Too Damn Cold, Woman, Deep Roots, and Inception [2009]. While consistently performing under his own name, he has performed with many internationally known artists, including spending two years as Taylor Hicks’ Musical Director.
He is currently touring with Raphael Saadiq. Josh has been written about in a variety of local and national publications, including a profile in the December, 2010 edition of Vintage Guitar Magazine.
